Green Friday

Black Friday runs on one idea: buy more because it’s cheap, whether you need it or not. Green Friday is the quieter answer — a fair price on genuinely handmade things, without the doorbuster theatrics or a warehouse discounting stock nobody wanted at full price anyway. Everything in this window comes from makers working in Ireland: jewellery, candles, notebooks, skincare, the kind of t-shirt with an actual Irish phrase on it rather than a slogan translated badly. Some pieces get a real discount here, not an inflated “was” price marked down to look generous. The point isn’t to empty a cart on autopilot — it’s a nudge to buy the thing you were already eyeing, at a price that doesn’t insult either you or the person who made it. Good for starting Christmas shopping early, restocking your own candle drawer, or just proving that “sustainable” and “sale” aren’t opposites.
