Rainbows, actual fabric ones in every size from keyring-small to wall-filling-large, are doing a lot of the heavy lifting in this category — and once you’ve seen a nursery with one hanging in the window, you’ll understand why. Alongside them: wooden jigsaws that survive more drops than the cardboard kind, pencil cases shaped like polar bears, prints with the sort of lines you’ll actually want on a bedroom wall (‘You are the glitter the world needs’ rather than a generic bunny). There are newborn booties for the just-arrived, kids’ t-shirts sized properly by age rather than vague guesswork, and hair clips and keyrings for the slightly older ones who now have opinions about their own accessories. Everything is handmade in Ireland, in small runs, so you’re not buying the exact same rainbow as the family down the road. Good for a christening, a birthday, a new baby, or just because a five-year-old’s bedroom could use a bit more colour in it. Delivered across Ireland.
