Mireog

This women’s t-shirt is inspired by the myth of the Irish river goddess Bóinn and the creation of the River Boyne, combining Irish heritage, storytelling, and sustainable fashion.
In Irish mythology, Bóinn approached the sacred Well of Segais, releasing its powerful waters and transforming into the River Boyne. Her story is linked to wisdom, poetry, and seership. The design also features an excerpt in Old Irish from the poem Boann I, found in the ancient Dindsenchas manuscripts:
“Hither came on a day white Boand (her noble pride uplifted her), to the well, without being thirsty to make trial of its power.”
Each t-shirt is screen-printed in Mireog studio in Co. Waterford using water-based inks on soft 100% organic cotton Earth-Positive fabric. These t-shirts are ethically made using renewable wind and solar energy, making them a truly sustainable and eco-friendly choice.
Comfortable and easy to wear, this t-shirt is designed with a loose fit. For a more fitted look, we recommend sizing down.
