Duilleoga na hÉireann (“Leaves of Ireland”) is a ladies’ t-shirt celebrating Irish trees, language, and Celtic mythology through contemporary sustainable design.
Hand-printed in Co. Waterford on a soft 100% organic cotton EarthPositive t-shirt, each design is created using water-based inks for a natural, eco-friendly finish.
The illustration features Irish words connected to each tree in folklore and Celtic mythology, including Alder, Birch, Hawthorn, Elder, Pine, Oak, Blackthorn, Ash, and Hazel.
Each leaf (and pinecone) is paired with its corresponding Ogham rune. Ogham is an ancient Irish alphabet dating back to the 4th century, preserved on carved stones found across Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man, and parts of England. Often referred to as the “Tree Alphabet,” it originally linked eight letters to trees, later expanded in medieval tradition.
All t-shirts are printed in Mireog studio in Co. Waterford using water-based inks on soft organic cotton. They are heat cured and can be washed at 30°C.
These garments are ethically made using renewable wind and solar energy, supporting a low-impact and sustainable production process.
Sizing note: These t-shirts are designed to be worn loose. For a more fitted look, we recommend sizing down and comparing measurements with a well-fitting t-shirt.
