Mireog designed this t-shirt for the “Pan Celtic Festival”, an annual festival of Celtic arts, music, and culture.
This design incorporates a repetition of two very similar Irish and Welsh proverbs.
Irish/Gaeilge:
‘Bíonn caora dhubh ar an tréad is gile’
(There tends to be a black sheep even in
the whitest flock)
Welsh/Cymraeg:
‘Y mae dafad ddu ym mhob praidd’
(Every flock has its black sheep)
