This design features the Manx proverb: “Shegin goaill ny eairkyn marish y cheh.”
In English, it translates as: “We must take the horns with the hide.”
The design is inspired by the Manx Loaghtan, a rare and distinctive sheep native to the Isle of Man. Known for its rich dark brown wool, this unique breed often has four horns, and sometimes even six.
