• How to use: 

Shake the bottle well before each use. Apply 1 to 3 drops to the desired area and spread evenly with your hand.
You can apply the glitter over larger areas or in small touches to catch the light – on cheekbones, eyelids, or collarbones, for example.

For cheekbones and eyelids, just a small drop is enough. Gently dab with your finger or a brush.
Wash your hands afterward and let the product dry for about 5 minutes before getting dressed.

Comme Avant mineral glitters are suitable for both face and body. They can also be safely used by children aged 3 and up for festive or occasional use!

Comme Avant mineral glitter is made from just six ingredients, all 100% natural and COSMOS Organic certified:

• Aloe Vera – Fresh juice extracted from Aloe Barbadensis leaves, filtered to remove fibers and impurities.

• Pentylene Glycol – A plant-based emulsifier derived from sugarcane or corn. It helps stabilize the formula and provides gentle hydration.

• Borosilicate – Used in the Champagne version, this shimmering mineral powder is made from fine glass particles that reflect light for a pearly, luminous finish. Unlike plastic glitter, it’s biodegradable and eco-friendly.

• Xanthan Gum – A natural thickener produced by fermenting sugars (such as glucose or sucrose), giving the formula a smooth, even texture for easy application.

• Mica – A natural mineral ground into ultra-fine particles to create the Bronze version. Our supplier is a founding member of the Responsible Mica Initiative (RMI), which combats child labor in mica mining.

• What they don’t tell you about conventional glitter

Glitter, yes—but at what cost? At Comme Avant, they’ve chosen a clean, transparent composition, free from any controversial ingredients that could harm your health or the environment.

Here’s what you’ll often find in industrial alternatives – and what we’ve chosen to avoid:

• Synthetic mica: produced through an energy-intensive chemical process at extremely high temperatures (up to 1000°C), making it highly polluting.
• Microplastics (PET, polyethylene, nylon, PMMA…): these don’t break down in the environment and end up in oceans, rivers, and soil, disturbing both marine and terrestrial ecosystems.

They’ve also excluded silicones, titanium dioxide, and harsh preservatives such as parabens.
