A handmade stoneware mug thrown on the wheel by Pat at Woodford Pottery in Listowel, Co. Kerry. Each mug is shaped, glazed and fired individually, so no two are quite the same — small variations in colour depth and glaze pooling are the mark of a piece made by hand, not a flaw.

Available in three sizes to suit how you actually drink: espresso for a short, strong cup, short for everyday tea and coffee, and tall for a long morning mug. Six glaze colours: blue, green, orange, pink, red and yellow.

Woodford Pottery

Working with durable stoneware clay and drawing on experience from some of Ireland’s most respected potters, Pat produces pieces in a variety of colours and styles, perfect as thoughtful gifts or to enhance any home. Each item is carefully shaped on the potter’s wheel, reflecting the harmony of hand, earth, and fire, before being fired in the kiln at 1260°C to achieve lasting strength and vibrant colour. Designed for daily use, these pieces are safe for both microwave and dishwasher.
