A suncatcher from Sonnet and Fable, made of real glass in the style of an old stained glass window. Hang it in a window and it catches the light and casts coloured reflections.
It is not assembled piece by piece like traditional stained glass: the design is printed onto the glass, and its lines are raised to give a textured, authentic finish.
Six designs: the Shire, the Shire in autumn, Velaris, the Terrasen stag, a magical castle and a puffin.

Sonnet and Fable is the fine art studio of Cara O'Connor Durnin, a self-taught artist from the south coast of Ireland. Her work draws on literature, fantasy books, mythology and the folklore of the Irish countryside.
Her stained glass collection turns those stories into designs on transparent materials, so natural light filters through and casts colourful reflections. Born in 2012, the small one-woman business has grown into an independent brand found in gift shops, museums and bookshops throughout Ireland and across the world.
At Chou's Cottage we carry her stained glass bookmarks and real glass suncatchers.
