Majella made these cactus earrings with an old technique, the enamelling.
Enamelling is a process which involves fusing powdered glass onto metal using heat. The metal is cleaned and prepared to accept the enamel which it’s sifts or wet pack before fusing in a Kiln at temperatures up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. The metal is then cleaned and the process repeated until achieving the desired colour and effect the designer looking for. It is impossible to make two identical pieces making each piece truly unique.
All items are handmade by the designer and enamelled on the back to stabilize the metal and prevent cracking
Will be sent in an eco-friendly box, ready to offer.
