Here is our story!
We are Julie & Paul, a French couple who arrived in Ireland in 2016 to start a new life. We opened our shop in Clonmel in March 2018. We now proudly support about 70 small Irish designers and makers.
We offer handmade goods such as baby items, wall decor, skincare, clothes, candles, cards, jewellery etc.!
We like to learn and new challenges. That's why we share our time with the renovation of our little Irish cottage, our garden and the future forest garden. We also like foraging wild mushrooms and plants, hiking, and travelling, and we are passionate about nature and animals. We enjoy sitting and watching the birds in our garden.
Julie finds inspiration for her creations in nature we have the luck to have around us here in Ireland. She started her company Tiny Studio beginning of 2023.
Every time you buy from us, you buy from a small Irish company, which fills us with joy.
Welcome to Chou's Cottage website.
Julie & Paul.
All our orders are sent by using old boxes (mostly shoe boxes from the shop in ou street!) or envelopes. We give them a second life in adding a little bit of biodegradable tape.
